| Onetangi Beach Waiheke Island |
Onetangi is a superb long stretch of white sandy beach on the northern side of Waiheke Island which is situated in the Hauraki Gulf . Facing north to the rising sun, on clear days the silluette of Little Barrier Island and the Coromandel Peninsula can be seen. It is 15 minutes drive from the Matiatia ferry wharf (35 minutes ferry ride from Auckland city) or 8 minutes drive from Kennedy Point Ferry wharf (45 minutes passenger and vehicular ferry from Half Moon Bay, East Auckland). Black Batch is a half minute stroll to the sand in a prime slightly elevated position which affords full views of the beach, privacy, sun and shelter. Next: Facilities
